Thea Ogle

QUT

Thea graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing in 2014 and completed a Graduate Certificate in Nursing (Cancer) at QUT in 2015. Since 2015 Thea has worked clinically at The Wesley Hospital in oncology/haematology, in Hepatology Outpatients at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, and in a project role at Lung Foundation Australia. In 2021 Thea commenced as a Lecturer in QUT’s School of Nursing, following various QUT project, research and sessional academic roles. Prior to commencing her career in nursing, Thea worked in a range of policy and project management roles for the Queensland Government, and for several London councils.

Thea is currently pursuing a PhD at QUT, with her research focusing on the symptoms of Chemotherapy Induced Peripheral Neuropathy (CIPN). She is especially interested in investigating self-management activities that cancer survivors attempt to manage chronic CIPN symptoms. Thea has been a CNSA member since 2014.
